The system
The VA system is large, cumbersome, and can be difficult to maneuver even for seasoned professionals. There is constant turnover in VA departments and corporate knowledge is sometimes lost. Our team has over 30 years experience with MEDEVAC and the VA system. We know the people to contact, we know the rules, and we know the right questions to ask.
Eligibility
Nothing happens automatically in the VA system. Many veterans and family members are unaware of their eligibility for VA travel benefits or have not taken the proper steps to secure those benefits. Let our clinical coordinators help you through this process.
Between the Cracks
Sadly some Veterans are eligible for VA travel benefits, but are not currently in a VA Medical Center. These veterans are often in step-down units or rehabilitation facilities that are VA affiliated but do not have anyone at the facility familiar with the VA benefit system. These most vulnerable Vets are our greatest concern and most in need of our service. Currently there is no system to accomodate these veterans and there are a number of these cases out there. We have worked over 40 of these type cases in the last 6 months.
Coordination
Often the most difficult issue with MEDEVAC of our veterans is ensuring the veteran is where they need to be to get benefits and ensuring they get where they need to go to continue care. We manage all calls personally and will be in contact with you, your family, and all of the departments and providers through the entire process. We have a number of trusted partners assisting us in all aspacts of MEDEVAC and will ensure our fellow veterans get the highest care.
